SARAL BACHAT KHATA:

This is a no frill account for financial inclusion. To facilitate low-income group customers, SBBJ offers No Frill account, Saral Bachat Khata where minimum balance requirement is Nil. The account can be opened on the basis of introduction from an existing customer of the Bank with minimum initial deposit of Rs. 5/-. Photo of the customer will be required. Money can be deposited freely in the account;
there are no minimum or maximum deposit periods for this offering.
Minimum withdrawal amount Rs. 50/-
A maximum of 5 withdrawals per month are permitted in the account.

TERM DEPOSIT SCHEME

Features

• Minimum deposit can be Rs. 1000/-.

• Deposits can be accepted for upto 10-year period.

• Interest is payable at quarterly intervals.

• Option to withdraw interest at monthly (discounted)/ quarterly intervals.

• Suitable to meet monthly expenditure

• TDS is deductible as per rules.

• Pre mature withdrawal facility available. Alternatively avail loan on deposit.

SPECIAL TERM DEPOSIT SCHEME
Features

• Minimum deposit can be Rs. 1000/- and thereafter in multiple of Rs.100/-.

• Deposits accepted for periods ranging 6 months (in multiples of 3 months) to 10 years.

• Option to open accounts in joint names, firms, companies, etc.

• Interest compounded on quarterly rests.

• TDS is deductible as per rules.

• Pre mature withdrawal facility available. Alternatively avail loan on deposit.
